what can we research for you?
Located in the second floor of the museum is the Trentalange Research Center, which houses the museum's extensive collection on the history of Monrovia that includes historic photographs, papers, maps, objects and some histories of houses and founding families.
An archivist will help researchers with preliminary searches that the researchers can then continue on their own. If one prefers to have the archivist do the research, the fee will be $30 per hour. Proceeds are used to help support the Museum. Fees are charged the printing or photocopying of items in the archives. The Research Center is available to the public by appointment only. Please make an appointment by calling (626) 357-9537 or emailing us at MonroviaHistoricalMuseum@gmx.com. Research Resources Want more information about Monrovia history? Here are some great links.
