Artifacts Donations

We gladly accept vintage artifacts of historical value or non-vintage but special interest items of value to the history of Monrovia!

Please contact us ahead of time via email with the following information:

object name and detailed description of the item(s), e.g., size dimensions, condition, year of use or manufacture or circa, and the owner, if known (if unknown, how it came to your possession);
attach photo(s) of the item(s);
items' history and relevance to the City of Monrovia; and/or
print out, fill out, and attach a copy of our donation form (see link button above).
once reviewed, we will then schedule a drop off date or ship/mail the item(s) to us if you are out of the area.

Alternatively, should you decide to stop by the museum to drop off the item(s), please do so only during our open hours, and be sure to speak to one of our board members on docent duty that day. Please note that dropping off is not a guarantee of acceptance. One of our board members will briefly speak with you about the item(s) you are donating, and ask you to fill out our donation form before leaving the items with us. Please do not drop off items on our front door during non-operating hours.
