​Regular hours ~ Sundays and Thursdays, 1:00-4:00pm.

  • FREE - donations are gladly accepted!

The Museum is operated by an all-volunteer staff of the Monrovia Historical Museum Foundation, Inc., a non-profit charitable organization

COURTYARD RENTAL:  Museum staff and volunteers are not involved in rental inquiries and transactions. Please contact the City of Monrovia Department of Community Services - click this link to be connected or call (626) 256-8246. 

​Museum Gift Cart
  • The Museum offers a variety of items for sale including historical publications, pins, postcards, note cards, stickers, tote bags, magnets and select yard sale items.
  • We also have vintage military uniforms and jackets for purchase. While there, grab a free poster with any purchase or donation! 


OUR LOCATION
742 East Lemon Avenue, Monrovia, CA 91016

The Museum is located one mile north of the Foothill Freeway (210) from the Mountain Avenue exit, in Monrovia's Recreation Park, where there are picnic tables, a playground area, tennis courts, a skate park, a baseball field and more. Click here for directions and a MAP.

Accessibility
  • The interior of the Museum is fully accessible. A wheelchair is available on request.  
  • Accessible parking and entrance is on the east side of the building. Please call (626) 357-9537 or text (626) 408-2087 for assistance during regular open hours. 

Disease Prevention Protocols:  
  • Face masks are available but not required.
  • Hand sanitizers are provided in the interactive areas. 
  • If you feel unwell, please visit us another time. 

​Food, Drinks and Picnicking
Food and drinks are not available for purchase at the Museum and not allowed to be brought inside the exhibit areas. Please consume your food items before you enter. There's a variety of nearby restaurants. 
** a drinking fountain is available inside the Museum and in the adjacent park area.
