The Museum is located one mile north of the Foothill Freeway (210) from the Mountain Avenue exit, and is 20 miles east of downtown Los Angeles. Free street parking is available in front of the Museum; Accessible parking is located on the east side of the building. Please call the Museum for assistance.

Museum Gift Shop
The Museum offers a variety of items for sale including Samson bear toys, pins, books, postcards and note cards. Occasionally, the Museum makes available vintage military uniforms and jackets for purchase.
Museum Hours - TEMPORARILY CLOSED
The Museum is open Thursdays and Sundays, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM, and by special appointment. Free docent-led tours are available and last about 30 minutes.
Spanish-Language Tours are offered by special appointment to groups of 6 or more.
Admission is free. Donations are gladly accepted.
Food, Drinks and Picnicking
Food and drinks are not available for purchase at the Museum. Several nearby restaurants provide sit-down and fast-food options. A drinking fountain is available inside the Museum and in the adjacent park area.
The Museum is located in the City of Monrovia's Recreation Park, where there are picnic tables, a fenced playground area, tennis courts, a skate park, a baseball field and more. Click here for directions and a MAP.
