research resources

On the second floor of the museum is the Trentalange Research Center, which houses the museum's collection on the history of Monrovia that includes historic photographs, papers, maps, objects and some histories of houses and founding families.

We are working on updating our PastPerfect database to eventually make our entire collection accessible online.  We are working as diligently as we can but the process is not as fast as we would like for it to be.  We rely on volunteers as we do not have any paid staff.  Your patience is greatly appreciated.

You you have any questions, please contact us by phone at (626) 357-9537 or via email (best way to reach us).
