Cravon "Cray" Gillespie is a Monrovia High School track and football standout who won state individual titles at Mt. San Antonio College and national championships at Oregon.

At Mt. Sac, he was named the California Community College Athletic Association Athlete of the Year in 2016, when his sprint times in the 100m (10.04 seconds) and 200m (20.20 seconds) were the fastest times in those events in the country by a junior college sprinter.

Gillespie went on to join the track team at Oregon, where he won the PAC-12 100m title in 2018 and 2019.  He still holds the Oregon school record for 100m (9.93 seconds) and 200m (19.93 seconds).  He
earned the university's George Scharpf Outstanding Athlete Award, given to a male track and field athlete with outstanding athletic achievement.

Cravon will represent the United States as part of the Track and Field team at the 2020 Olympic Summer Games in Tokyo in July 2021.
